About Wellformed AI
Free Tools Built on Official Data, Checked Before They Ship
Wellformed AI builds free tools for US professionals and homeowners, from NPI and exclusion checks to construction and electrical calculators, and builds websites, AI receptionists and automation for small businesses.
What We Do
Our free tools answer everyday questions with the official source behind every number: whether a provider is excluded from Medicare, how many bags of concrete a slab needs, or what size wire keeps voltage drop under 3%. Our paid work is fixed-price websites, AI receptionists and automation for clinics, law firms and contractors. The free tools are how many clients find us.
How We Build and Test Our Tools
- Start from the primary source. Codes, government data and manufacturer data sheets, never another calculator site.
- Cross-check every table. When two published copies of a table disagree, we find a third before we use a number.
- Test against published answers. For example, our conduit fill tool must match the NEC Annex C conductor counts, and our concrete bag counts must match the manufacturer’s yield per bag.
- Show the work. Each page gives the formula, a worked example, the limits of the estimate and its sources.
- Re-check on a schedule. Government data refreshes automatically (NPI live, exclusion lists twice a week); rules and code values are reviewed at least every quarter, and each page shows when it was last checked.
Our Sources
| Health care data | CMS NPPES NPI Registry, CMS Medicare enrollment and opt-out files, HHS-OIG List of Excluded Individuals and Entities, SAM.gov exclusions, state Medicaid exclusion lists, Medicare Care Compare. |
|---|---|
| Construction | International Residential Code (stairs), manufacturer data sheets such as USG (joint compound) and Quikrete (concrete and mortar yields), and university extension guidance (mulch). |
| Electrical | NFPA 70, National Electrical Code: Chapter 9 Tables 1, 4, 5 and 8, and Table 310.16. |
| Legal deadlines | State statutes, cited section by section on each page. |
Independence, Limits and Corrections
- We are independent and not affiliated with CMS, HHS-OIG, GSA, the ICC, NFPA or any manufacturer we cite.
- Our tools give information and estimates, not legal, medical, engineering or code-compliance advice. Your local building department, licensing board or engineer has the final word.
- Found an error? Email [email protected] with the page and what you expected. We fix confirmed errors and note the change.
